United States Navy Construction Battalions Seabees pin, original WW ll sterling silver and enamel with a heavy gold wash on the front. Most of these are smaller lapel pins, this one is a nice size, 1" x 1-1/8". It is also maker hallmarked "Metal Arts Co. Roch. NY Sterling". The official motto of the Seabees: Construimus, Batuimus -- "We Build, We Fight.".
